| Sewn in tracks involve attaching wefts of hair with thread to cornrows (a.k.a. tracks). Hair for weaving resembles a fringed curtain; there’s a finished edge that the hair hangs from like the fringe. The finished edge is what is sewn onto the cornrow. Typically, a client will have three tracks placed into her hair in order to achieve a satisfactory blend between her hair and the hair extensions. The number of tracks required depends on the length and thickness of the client’s natural hair. This type of hair extensions can be worn for 10 to 12 weeks with proper maintenance. The service will take between two to three hours to complete. |
