About silkka
Hair is Silkka’s passion. The seemingly endless creative challenges hairstyling presents inspired her to follow her heart in 1999 and become a hairstylist. Growing up in Boulder, Colorado with a number of biracial and multicultural friends, she was introduced to many of the various textures that hair can have. Always eager to get her hands on someone’s head, Silkka dabbled in hairstyling for many years before attending Xenon School of International Hair Design.
At Xenon, she was introduced to haircoloring and its power to transform clients. After graduating from Xenon, Silkka trained under a local hair extension expert and developed another great transformation tool-hair extensions! Today, her specialties are healthy hair development and maintenance as well as haircolor and hair extensions.
